Privacy Policy

This page covers the AFFRM website and the AFFRM app. The website keeps your email if you join the waitlist. The app keeps nothing. What you write stays on your phone.
Who we are
AFFRM is run by AVNT AB, a company in Sweden. We decide how your data is used, so we are responsible for it. Questions go to hello@affrm.app.
The website
The waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address. We use it to send one welcome email now and to tell you when AFFRM is on the App Store. That is all. We never sell it and we never share it for ads.
- Why we may keep it: you asked us to. You can take that back at any time.
- Where it is kept: with Resend, the email service we use. Resend may store it in the United States, under a data processing agreement with us.
- How long: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
Your visit. Cloudflare runs this site. When you visit, it sees your IP address so it can send you the page and stop abuse, like many sign-ups at once. We do not keep IP addresses ourselves. The page also loads its font from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address too.
How the page is used. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use this page, like how far they scroll and what they tap. It runs without cookies and hides what you type in the email box. We use it because we have a fair reason to improve the page.
Cookies. We do not use cookies for tracking or ads.
The app
AFFRM is a personal audio tool that runs entirely on your phone. Your affirmations are turned into speech on the phone itself, not on a server. We never see them, because there is nowhere for them to go. There is no account and no sign-up.
What we collect from the app: nothing. No analytics, no ad tools, no trackers.
The app keeps the following on your phone, in its own private storage:
- The affirmations and sets you write or save.
- Audio made from your text, saved so the app does not have to make it again.
- Your settings: voice, speed, gap, pitch, reminder times, display name.
- Your practice streak.
All of it goes when you delete the app. You can also clear saved audio or delete every set in Settings.
Calendar. If you turn on calendar reminders, AFFRM asks to read your calendar so it can nudge you before a big event. It only reads, and only on your phone. Event details are never sent anywhere. It is off until you turn it on.
Notifications. Reminders are set by your phone. There is no push server.
The voice. AFFRM uses Kokoro, an open-source speech model that ships inside the app. Your text is never sent to a speech company or any other service.
Purchases. Apple handles every payment. We never see your card details. Apple only gives us sales totals. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, fix or delete your data, or to stop using it. Email hello@affrm.app and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Swedish privacy authority, IMY.
Children
AFFRM is not for children under 13. If a child joins the waitlist, tell us and we will delete the email.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the app ever collects anything, we will say so here before it ships.
